Psalm 95: 1-3
O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Worship Service

Falling Waters offers a ten o’clock service of worship for the Lord’s Day.  Our worship service is a blend of practices both old and new, beginning with contemporary praise music. The senior choir sings both traditional favorites and contemporary songs of praise. Children have a children’s time led by an elder before going to Children’s Church, where they learn worship skills in praise, prayer and sacred story.  In our services lay worship leaders and music leaders take an active role.

We also have special services throughout the year such as Palm Sunday, Easter Sunrise, Easter, Pentecost, Heritage Sunday, Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. All worship services are built around the proclamation of God’s living Word in Scripture. A nursery is available  during all worship and educational activities.

Sunday School and Christian Education

Sunday School is held at 9:00 A.M. in the educational wing. We have classes for all ages from children to adults. In all our classes, students learn Bible content that they may apply to their lives and grow in their discipleship to the Lord. In addition to Sunday School, Falling Waters offers throughout the year several Bible Study and new member classes, usually held on Sunday evening, lasting six to eight weeks

Music Ministry

Music has always been a vital part of Falling Waters Church. We have an excellent adult choir with a director of music and an organist. Members of the choir are all volunteers who simply want to make a “joyful noise unto the Lord.” The children’s choir is an important part of our music ministry. The choir director practices with the children on Sunday mornings, and they sing monthly during the morning worship. Also, our annual Christmas cantata has become a cherished tradition.

This is the purpose for which we are called: "You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light" (1 Peter 2:9). We were called for the purpose of praising God, worshiping God. That is one of the job descriptions of a Christian. We should declare that God is worthy, worth more than everything else put together.
